Shropshire Hope Live Prayer

Continuing Wednesday 3rd February at 8pm, the Shropshire Hope Team are hosting their fourth live 30 minutes prayer session on the Shropshire Hope YouTube channel and Facebook page.

Please share widely and encourage people to join and pray with us. You can engage in the event by commenting, and also writing prayers in the comment box, as you watch the event. This is not a Zoom group meeting; rather it is a Live 30mins Broadcast.

The focus this month is Connecting with Christ in an Age of Uncertainty – prayer is key in helping our County and Borough navigate these difficult times

The following is an amazing website from CPAS which lists 300 resources, including reviewing many courses, some 200 or so. These range from pre-Alpha, Alpha like, post-Alpha, discipleship and many other types of courses. There are courses for children, youth, and many other particular groups. We would really encourage you to have a look…

Shropshire Hope is an initiative to draw together Christians from across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin to pray for secular | social | spiritual leadership. We also seek to present the latest Christian thinking on a range of topics which help Christian’s more fully partner with God in His mission to this area.

Our vision is to see community transformation as the Good News of Jesus is proclaimed and demonstrated in our lives. We help facilitate various activities and events and by being a permanent resource to the Church and individual Christians.
We take our inspiration from the words of Isaiah 58:12 (New Living Translation):
“Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls and a restorer of homes.”

Please find attached the audio recording (the quality is not great but really worth listening to) of Tim Alford speaking at our Youth event in March 2019. Tim focussed his talk on understanding and then reaching Generation Z, those born roughly between 1997 – 2012. His Powerpoint slides are also included:
