This is not a Zoom group meeting; rather it is a Live 30mins Broadcast
This a monthly event, first Wednesday of the month, supporting the county in prayer during these challenging days
The following is a wonderful Advent Prayer and Devotional Guide by our good friend Stephen Derges. You can also go to the National Prayer Network site where you can find this devotional, plus three other resources link
You can also find it here on our Shropshire Hope website where it is available to be downloaded link
The following is an amazing website from CPAS which lists 300 resources, including reviewing many courses, some 200 or so. These range from pre-Alpha, Alpha like, post-Alpha, discipleship and many other types of courses. There are courses for children, youth, and many other particular groups. We would really encourage you to have a look…

Shropshire Hope is an initiative to draw together Christians from across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin to pray for secular | social | spiritual leadership. We also seek to present the latest Christian thinking on a range of topics which help Christian’s more fully partner with God in His mission to this area.
Our vision is to see community transformation as the Good News of Jesus is proclaimed and demonstrated in our lives. We help facilitate various activities and events and by being a permanent resource to the Church and individual Christians.
We take our inspiration from the words of Isaiah 58:12 (New Living Translation):
“Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls and a restorer of homes.”
Please find attached the audio recording (the quality is not great but really worth listening to) of Tim Alford speaking at our Youth event in March 2019. Tim focussed his talk on understanding and then reaching Generation Z, those born roughly between 1997 – 2012. His Powerpoint slides are also included:
Please look through the website and join with us as we:
- Inspire initiate prayer
- Facilitate and support local mission
- Coordinate and plan various events
- Help establish an on-going legacy of hope for the future
